pink birdsnest turns dark red

I haven't been able to keep pink birdsnest pink. They turn into a dark red color. Any ideas????

All other acros and SPS are "true to their color" and doing well and have tried different frags of pink birdsnest with same results

Are you sure that is a pink birdsnest? It kind of looks like an ORA Bird of Paradise type of b-nest, though it might just be the lighting?

Either way, I have noticed that the more light these get, the more pink they are. Where is the coral placed? Right under your fixture or off to the side? Try moving it around and wait a month or two and see the results.

Doesn't look like a pink birds nest
But if it is they will get darker with higher nutrients and less light
They get lighter (pinker) with higher light and less nutrients

yup brighter lights less food means brighter color
