Pink skunks biting?

My brother inherited my pink skunk that I had in my classroom tank -- and then he got a partner for it. The tank has been set up for a few months now. Both were juvis when bought.

What would cause the assumed female to bite him after such a short time? They just seem to be too young to be paired up already.

The tank is a 55 gallon. No anemone, some mushrooms and soft coral.

This is just normal behavor of a female clownfish showing her dominance over the male. My Clarkii female does this to my male Clarkii from time to time now that they are a true pair.

Oops, the female's not biting the male clown (anymore), she's biting my brother!

He actually called me and the first thing he said to me was, "Um, have you ever been bitten by one of your clarkiis?"

His pink skunks sound meaner than my clarkiis!
