pink tip anemone problems. please respond ASAP

i have had it for a week in a ten gallon.
it was fine intell my mom tried to clean my tank and she took it off the rock.
i tried moving back but it would'nt stay.
when i woke up it was at the bottom of the tank and healthy, so i decided to leave it there.
next thing i know all the ends where shrunken up and the mouth was showing.
i am conserned and took it out of the tank and put it in a cotainer.
i did this because if it was dying i would contaminate my water plus a bunch of stuff was coming off of it.
what is happing?
is it dying?

I'd say put it back into the tank and keep an eye on it. When my bta died, tissue started falling off of it and you could see its insides. When your mom moved it, did she tear its foot? If she did, that my be why it's not feeling well.

What are your water parameters? I would question possibly an ammonia spike or something else that is off.
