The pink metallic zoas where growing and spreading like crazy..enter the anemone.....(dramatic music)..

My LTA decided to take a stroll and park its lazy foot right next to the rock most of my zoas where on one night.:sad2: The LTA tentacles rubbed the crap out of the zoas before I noticed. Then I went on a trip and the stupid snails bulldozed the hole colony of a rock I moved them too. So they were in the dirt for 1.5 days.... I have them in a safe place but most are still not opening. Only time will tell....

Starting to rethink the whole clown anemone thing...grrr

that sucks man, sorry to hear that. Hopefully they will open back up for ya. Nems are always kinda scary in a reef cause you never know what theyr'e gonna do.

Pink zoas are typically bullet-proof. A friend of mine had a large zoa frag that actually fell into a nem. Dug it out, and a few days later was surprised to see that they all survived.

my pink zoas went MIA...something knocked them off a rock...i searched and searched nothing... i think my pistol took em and is using them as decoration in one of his caves...
r.i.p. pink zoas...

I have 3 different varieties of pink zoas in my tank (what can I say, I'm a girl). Let me know if they don't make it and you need a few replacement polyps.

Ditto, I have rose nebula, pink lemonade, Pink panther, pink zippers, Miami vice, and pink aog's. Let me know if I can help you out.

Forgot to mention candy apple pink. I always end up with pink zoas for some reason. If pink went in vogue like hornets I'd be livin large.

gosh akwarius i want your tank filled with zoas!

grinner just remembered a few of my frags have been stung by my rbta when it decided to move, my frag of aogs were stung, then fell in the sand and were buried for around 2 days. That happened at least 3 weeks ago and they barely opened up like last week. i thought they were goners.. that long without opening? but they are looking real nice now.
