pipe fish- who's got them

I keep bluestripes in my 55 reef with SPS and polyps, mushrooms, zoas, etc. No stinging LPS or anemones. They eat frozen cyclops, roe, and mysis. My tank has around 30 times turnover with 2 Korlias. My bluestripes hang around the Koralias a lot and pick pods off of them but don't get sucked in. I still put the screen over the front of the Koralias though.

Had him for about a month doing great

I have sort of a medium- to low-flow, softie/LPS dominated 115 gallon display, with lots of rock/caves. (For flow I only use one vortech at about 3/4 speed, plus the return.) No aggressive fish, although I do have a pair of red scooter dragonettes that would compete for pods. I do have a 25 gallon fuge and a 75 gallon sump with a bunch of pods, though. Potentially suitable for pipes? Some species better than others for such a set-up?

I've got 7 or 8 small gobies and a huge female scooter dragonet with my pipes. For about 6 months, I kept a Velvetfish (who was my favorite fish) but he died last week :( I also keep many small crustaceans like a squat lobster, a pom pom crab, pistol shrimp, and acro crabs.

I think you could easily keep a pair of bluestripes in a very well seasoned and copepod-populated 30 gallon tank. Any other pipes should have a bare minimum of 55 gallons (with refugium).
