You mean harvesting those pods? There pretty small so you'd need to use a very fine mesh net. Why not just buy some DT's Phytoplankton or Oyster Feast?great thank you your input, id like to find something live to feed the fish and coral in my 150g. any suggestions on an easy way to achieve this?

this is not a pencil urchin but looks like it is most likely a reef urchin Echinometra viridis the white rings around the base of the spines is a good way to tell the difference
