So they are deffinately nerrite eggs. Will they hatch and grow new snails? The thing I just read says only breeds in brackish water, but I see maybe 500 eggs.

They will hatch, but as far as I know the larvae of nerites have a long planktonic phase and usually none or very very few survive to become snails.

Found this guy in my start up. Live rock and sand only so far. Last night it was open and will close if it detects you. This morning it was open and on its side looking like it split in 2 almost.

Sorry guys don't know why my phone won't post the right picture and I can't edit my posts. I have a build thread at the bottom of this forum if someone can tell me what it is as I would like to try to avoid it dying if I can and it's a good guy

I thought it was a little rock LOL. I zoomed in (on my phone). A snail that shape is probably fine. Need a much clearer pic of both sides if a firm ID is wanted. Take it out & take a pic on something white.

I do not know how to add a picture. I am 100% new with internet forums. Can anyone fill me in. I hit add image and it asks for a URL. Help?

I just found a nudibranch floting around. The gills are in fuffs down each side, and it has no popm-pom looking feature. It seems to have 2 sets of long pointed (not feathery) anteni. The top set is red. The general color of it is whitish to cream. The body structure is very similar to the berghia type. It does not match any phote I can find. It is about 1 inch long.

Any opinions?

An image would help. You can upload them to Photobucket or another image hosting site and then link it.

Otherwise do an image search on Google with the following search terms: "site:seaslugforum.net aeolidina" (without quotes).

Eunicid

Eunicid

Saw this worm after lights out yesterday. Sorry the picture isn't that great but it was at least 8" long. I'm thinking eunicid because of the head. After I took the pictures it climbed back into the rock on the right of the picture. Do I pull the rock or should I not be worried?

Pull it, definitely see tentacles on the head.
I agree on the clam/mussel ID above. Much better pic!

Any time you can catch something & put it in a bowl or cup of tank water for good pics that's the best way to get an ID!
