In the middle of this pic there is a raised white "bump" that has tentacles coming out of it. Any ideas what it might be? It's about 1/2 the size of a pencil eraser if that helps.

Do the tentacles come out and then go back in fairly quick, almost as if they're trying to catch something in the water? If so, it might be a harmless barnacle.

The tentacles actually stay out for a while but now that you mention it, it does look like a barnacle.

look like Zoas to me, the Anemone will hurt them before they hurt it, usually

dsdaley is correct, those are some nice zoas. The nem will definitely kill them.

dsdaley, those pics are way too small for me to see anything but pvc pipes LOL.

SushiGirl, yes apparently as there is no pvc lol but just added some new pics....if they are to small I dont know what to do as I am new to this

Hi guys, thank you so much for the IDs so far. I have one more that has appeared in the last couple of days... Does anybody have a clue what these little black bubble looking things are? Ive looked online and cant find anything to help! they have appeared in a couple of locations on the rocks.

hrm, I thought they might be zoas, but as they've slowly grown/spread they don't look as fancy as other zoas I've seen posted.

Can they be peeled off the rock and moved to another safer location on the rock?

That might be more trouble than it's worth. Build barriers around them with epoxy. When they start to overgrow the epoxy, pop it off the rock. (frag) GL.

ok so i cant get a pic but i just noticed on my live rock there are very very tiny white polyp sorta looking things they could possibly be worms anyone got ideas
