Hi All,

Found this thing today under a rock while removing a gorilla crab. It just looks like a sac of poo and then a "tentacle" will come out searching for stuff, any ideas? cause im at a loss. Thanks

Strange indeed. Does it move itself, or is it sessile. Does it have a skeleton?

It could be some type of worm. Another possibility is that it is a sage of life of something. Let me know if you find out.

Ive got a few I need help identifying. Im new to the hobby so bare with me.

Cant make out pic 1 well enough to ID.

Coral in pic 2 and 5 is Cladocora arbuscula (not P. americana)

Pic 3, the branching thing is Meristiella sp. (A macro algae)
Pic 3, the orange stuff could be algae (Lithophyllum sp.?) or sponge (Cliona sp.; most probable maybe even Tedania ignis but cannot see osculum

Pic 6, (on the clam), could be several things, bryozoans, colonial tunicates, sponge, or algae. (going to need a better pic).

Any help with this guy would be great, just need to know if its good or bad. It already moved about an inch.
