Please help me ID this worm like creature.

Here is the video of what I found in my tank. Not crazy big, but we've only seen it in the morning when the tank lights are off.

I thought it was a bristle worm, but it doesn't seem to have legs all down its sides. I have seen bristle worms in my tank, and this doesn't look like one.

I know the video quality isn't great due to lack of light, but any thoughts from anyone are appreciated.

I've been battling aiptasia from day one. Things are going pretty well with lemon juice as my weapon of choice. A couple of days ago, this popped up in my sand. I do have a BTA that came with my live rock and was a bit concerned that this isn't aiptasia at all and may be something I should keep, but I'm going the "better safe than sorry" route. It has been removed. but my curiosity prevents me from killing it... So can anyone explain to me why this anemone is so much wider and darker than the rest? If it's not aiptasia, what on earth is it. Thanks in advance!

Looks like the reproductive part of a polycheate worm.
Search polychaete epitoke in this thread or other areas of reef central.

I caught this nearly 2 inch critter this morning. Polychaete of some type I assume. Anybody have a good idea what it is more specifically? Is it anything to worry about, or a beneficial scavenger?

Thanks for this!! I think that may be just it. I remember seeing a bristle worm around this size, so I guess this is it trying to mate??

Hello everyone, A couple of nights ago I was looking at my tank after the lights had been off and I noticed these small worms in the sand. Its only been running for a week and I used live rock and sand. If anyone can help me ID them I'd really appreciate it.

Ok help what is this stuff I have a couple of spots where it grows but cant figure out what it is

It's probably just a sponge of some sort. It should break right off if you want to get rid of it.

I thought of sponge but dint have a clue as to what kind it might be and yes it will break right off

Animagus Thank you for your response . The sponge is not hurting anything and I dont mind them just hopping to find a better ID on them. Found all kinds of pictures that are close but no real name for them.

The other pic I believe is a much bigger bristle worm I found

then the last 3 I think are either some type of Mushroom or Zoa?
I think the last one title Zoa is one but the first 2 I am not sure?

I just got a pineapple tree from live aquaria that have some extra stuff on the base and was curious if anyone can ID the ones with the green center? I know the ones that there are more of are a yellow polyp that can spread fast and therefore be a nuisance, but I was more curious about the green center one you can see two of.. I thought maybe majano but haven't found any pictures that look exactly like it.. Thanks!

Awesome the one Paly seems to be pretty happy there its been growing fast as well. only on day 10 of my tank. Hope it doesn't die my reading are good though so I'm not worried yet.

SG 1.25, Nitrite 0 Ammonia 0 Nitrate 2 (down from 5)

before I went to bed last night I turned all the lights off in the room and hallways waited like 15 minutes and came back with a flash light....holy cow....completely different tank at night! Saw at least 5 big amphipods, saw a couple small crab (I'm a bit concerned about these? should I be?) I also got a chance to remove an Asterina Starfish I saw. Hopefully it didn't multiply already heard they can be pretty bad if they get out of hand.

Thanks for the ID still looking to find out what this tube thing is there is 2 of them 1 small and that big one. and you can see 1-2 threads sticking outta the tubes and sometimes a red thing will stick out. I think you are correct on the snail ID...Thanks. Should I remove it or just not put corals by it?
