will this carpet host a pair of true perc's? also i read that they dont get as big as haddoni's and Gig's....is this true?

I'm not personally sure that even clarkii are natural. I've never seen anything on them but shrimp in the wild. Different places, different cultures though.

I read an issue in Aquarium Fish International once, that Pizza Anemones will host Clarkii Clownfish, Sexy Anemone Shrimp, Anemone Crabs, Anemone Shrimp, and Juvenile Three Spot Damsels. And they will also max out in size around 12". I hope this helps.

Ahhhh, very interesting, so they are natural hosts.
I find it fascinating how local conditions can cause different behaviors.
I've been diving in Moalboal quite a bit, and if I only dove there I'd swear that BTA's only host tomato clowns, and Heteractis crispa only host pink skunks, because that's all I've seen there, but from diving in other places I know that's not the case. I do wonder why it's like that though.

You are right it is interesting, the oceans are big places, currents dictate and there is an awful lot of space between coral reefs in some cases, In the Andaman sea you would swear that only a.eppiphium inhabits BTA's but there must be a point where the melanopus from Indonesia mix or tomatoes for that matter. Maroons do cross over the whole region but they inhabit the solitary form of BTA, curiouser and curiouser.
