Places to buy PVC in SoCali

I know the obvious places are HomeDepot and OSH, but this is why I'm posting this. Since strength isn't a primary concern, I was wondering if anyone knew where you can buy thin walled PVC. The standard PVC has like a 1/4" thickness, so a 3/4" OD has a 1/2" ID but I was able to get the really thin ones before at HD, just not anymore. The 3/4"OD would have like a 11/16" ID, more flow :D TIA

I used 1' S-40. I have yet to hear noise coming from it, its sturdy and easy to do maintanance on behind or under the tank. Bought it at HD for 2.80 at 10 feet.

I think if you go to thin you will you will have something sounding like a toilet drain but Im not sure.

Good Luck

You might be looking for CPVC instead of the PVC. CPVC has a much thinner wall thant PVC. OSH carries CPVC.

This is kinda sketchy directions but across the street from the HD on Edinger and Ritchey there is a Plumbing Supply Wherehouse, of some name. It is right on the corner of Ritchey and Edinger, like a block west of the 55.I believe it is the North East Corner. I'm not sure of the City, Santa Ana, and Tustin come pretty close together over there.

I have found all my PVC pipe needs there. If you can't find it else where I can drive by on my way to work and get you the number. I also got some pliable PVC there which I think is the greatest thing ever now.

Good Luck.

I've only seen thin wall PVC at HD in the 1" size. However it's only the pipe and not the fittings. I've used it before and it works well. Just be sure to seal your joints very well and use primer. Thin wall doesn't seem to be as forgiving as Sch40 when it comes to joint seals, perhaps because it lacks enough material for the solvent to grab.
