placing BTA (urgent)

i have a BTA dripping right now. how do i place it in the tank so it wont float away? do i just hold it in place for a few min? will it attach then?

Let it do its thing. Its going to move on its own no matter what.

I think he means how does he get the foot to attach.

Yes, gently place him close to the bottom of the tank, allow him to latch onto the tip of your finger first, he should slowly walk off and attach to rock. You could also place a small piece of LR next to him while acclimating and allow him to attach to that first then just place in tank on more LR

We just held it around the external portion and placed on a piece of LR. He attached immeadiately. They will move around until they find the best spot for them, then they will bubble their tips and you will know that they are situated.
