'Planet Earth' bluray questions

there's the 2007 4 disc release and a 2011 6 disc release.

What's the difference? Is the 6 disc newer release worth the extra money?

I don't have any of the David Attenborough narrated series but I love the photography, subject matter and his narration. What other blurays should I be considering? Blue Planet, Frozen Planet... is there a coral reef one?

Can't find a new 6 disk version, looks like part 6 shallow seas is the only one that is about reefs. My guess is that a 6 disk version would include the specials that were also broadcast. Here are a couple of documentary's that are coral reef specific, haven't seen them yet so i can't recommend them but they look pretty good from trailers.

This one is (or, was) on Netflix. Good way to "preview" it before shelling out. I watched it a year or two ago and it was definitely interesting, but not mind-blowing.
