Playing with camera... new tank shots.

I took some tips from some guys over in the Photography forum. Here is the outcome of me playing with and trying to understand my camera more today.

Wow. What kind of camera? Those are some sharp pics.

Cool you think so... I didn't even have a tripod tonight either, but I did stick the lens directly on the glass.

Its a canon digital rebel with that 100mm usm macro lens.

I learned quite a bit about using the aperture priority setting, what fstop actually does, and about depth of field. I obviously still need some work.... but its a start and I'm understanding the camera a little better rather than just sticking with the basic zone.

nice shots. I have always wanted to take some like that but I just have a point and shoot. I sorta have to get lucky on the focus, but when I get it right, they look pretty good.

Awesome pics man...I have the Rebel XT and I can't get shots like that. I have a couple of really good lenses, but neither is a macro lens. Those kick some major a$$!!
