i just got my new seio 820 & just put some frags in there not glued in i just placed them in, i have the back on the seio do i just put it in & plug it up do i need that blue elbow air thing in or not, & what if it starts blowing my small frags around,

Just use one of the brackets that the seio came with and mount it in the aquarium. You can experiement with different placements. If it blows the frags around, either move the pump, or move the frags, or secure them.

thanks ill keep an eye on them, the power head is @ the top will they atach there self to the rock by there self in time if they dont move from there spot?

Are the frags mounted on anything at all (a small piece of rock)? You can try to secure them with loose fishing line or a rubber band. You can also use marine epoxy or super glue gel to mount them, depending on what kind of frag they are.

If the frags stay in the same spot for a while, yes they will attach themselves as long as your tank is a good environment for them and they are growing.

They will attach if they don't move, but the likelihood they will move if not glued is high. They probably ought to wobble about for a while until you are sure where they need to be, but after that, get some IC-glue and glue them into the rockwork. You can break off the rock they're glued to and glue them straight to the rock once you know definitively where they belong. And if you really need to you can break them loose again. IC-Glue doesn't hold forever.

You're starting with a pump and frags at the same time. Have you got your alk, cal and mg test kits? Start doing that, along with salinity and temperature, and keep a log with your readings. If anything goes wrong, you'll have a ready reference for what preceded it.
