please help me identify my clownfish :)

Bought my lil clownfish 3 months ago. He has more black on his fins and black on the top of his head. He seems to be getting darker. He was labeled as an fancy ocellaris, but I am convinced he is something else. Please help me identify him. Thank You :hmm3:

The label is correct. He is a fancy occellaris. It will take time for all the black to come in.

A closer picture of the head (also the body of course) would be helpful for ID purpose. With that said, I think this is a Ocellaris but the black seem to be more than normal for Ocellaris. It does not seem to be an Percula even if there is more black on his body. Other possibility include a hybrid of the two.

It is hard to tell, but I would also say Ocellaris. The give away for me is the eyes.

It is absolutely an ocellaris. Most likely one from SA Aquatics. It won't ever get as much black as an onyx percula, but it is very pretty in its own right.

Besides the eye color, the deep red/orange color is an ocellaris thing. Perculas tend to be more yellow/orange.
