Please Help Me Light My 40

I have decided to upgrade the ligthing on my 40 gallon and i was wondering the best way to go.
i plan on housing mainly zoas and ricordia florida, as well as some lps and maybe a sps here and there
the tank is 36" long

Just two or three? i found this Current Nova Extreme 6x39watt halide fixture that i thought might be nice

I have a 40 gal 36"L 18"D and 17" T I run a single 175 watt halide and love it. I wont go any other route. It gives some lesser light areas for low light stuff and plenty of high light areas for SPS and LPS. I run a xm 20K on a magnetic ballast with a regular batwing reflector. You can build one for about 100.00, but you need a canopy to house it in.

Thanks. That pick was taken when I was running a iwasaki 15K. I switched to XM 20K though because the Iwasaki was too bright for a few of the thing I was keeping.

The Nova Extreme 6 x 39 watt is a T5 fixture. T5 is a flourescent bulb, not metal halide.

I have a 40 breeder with a 36" Nova Extreme Pro and it is a great light for softies and LPS. I have a couple low demand SPS in the tank and they are also doing well. When you replace the bulbs use something better. The stock bulbs leave a lot to be desired.
