please id this critter

i got a little conical like shell on my live rock and something lives there. it hides wheni dust off the detrius with my baster and lets out this web like thread. i just there some brine in there and the thread caught some and now its eating them. the critter has a flat top the he hides under and lifts it to eat but i cant directly seem him. is it a bad guy or good? ill post a pic when i can.

wow-this foto is so blurry i can not see a thing. maybe if i drink a few beers and cover one eye, the foto will become clearer.

Looks like a Ctenophore, a beneficial filter feeder.

No they are just annoying IMO, their stick strands get on everything.
