Shawn, what part of Ohio are you in?

I am in Columbus... I buy nori in big 100 sheet packs, but once my 600gal reef and 220gal FOWLR are setup I am looking for more "cost effective" ways of feeding :)

Well I have always used the two leaf lettuces and they will take out all that you see there. in just a few hours. They are quite healthy, I rinse it very well before feeding, they also eat the frozen foods and the flake foods. It's funny to watch them. I think they are up at the top waiting for me to put it in when they see me coming with it.

Do you have pics of your tanks? I would love to see them, GOSH ........600 GAL that's a tank!!!! :D

I only have a few pics up right now of my 92gal (they are not very good)... I bought a used 220gal thinking it would be big enough and about two wks later placed the order on the 600gal (96x48x30), LOL... I am still waiting on the 600gal to be delivered (should be this Friday the 16th)... The 220gal is still in my garage waiting to be setup... I figured since I have it I would use it as a FOWLR so that I can keep some "non reef safe fish" that I like, and if I run into any problems with fish in the 600gal I can just place them into the 220gal with no problems...

2 new pieces I picked up today. Pretty nice pieces. I haven't ID'd them yet as they just popped in the tank. The blue which I believe is a tenuis has thick branches.

Hey Shawn, didnt realize you were going from a 92 to 600.......thats a hell of a leap.

P.

I was going to go from a 92gal to a 220gal... But about 2 wks after I got the used 220gal (still sitting empty in my garage), I had the 600gal on order LOL... I didn't want to beat around the bush... I am going to use the 220gal as a FOWLR plumbed off of the 600gal...

That's what I thought too but it looks slightly different then my other torts. It's possible it is. I'll have to get it ID'd.

the first one is most likely not a tenuis
the second one looks real close to a gomezi.
Thats just a good guess as all the pros say you can id without look and the dead coral structure. But for all general purposes here a good guess is as all you can get
Erik

Yea the first one I'm not sure what it is. I know that one isn't a tenuis for sure. The second one I think is too thick for one but I could be wrong.I thought it looked like a tort, but the branches are really fat. You guys recommend any GOOD book that has alot of corals to match ID's to?
