looking for suggestions on a showpiece fish for my 125 reef to go with:

blue throat trigger(male)
yellow belly blue tang
purple tang
huma huma trigger
candy hogfish
6 line wrasse
bicolor pseudochromis
black nox angel
bellus angel(female)
yellow stripe maroon clown
blotchy anthias
ignitus anthias

coral banded shrimp
cleaner shrimp
20 scarlet reef hermits
leather coral
star polyps
button polyps

I was thinking a Emperor, Blonde Naso, or a med size Aussie Tusk...
would the Tusk eat my shrimp/hermits?

any other recommendations?

thanks!

Tusk is the only fish semi suited to that size tank but I wouldn't add another large fish with the load already in there. How about a mystery wrasse, toby puffer or a pair of hawkfish? Or pair up one of the fish you already have. Or add the tusk but take out the blue tang as he'll outgrow it anyways.

What in world is wrong with your Huma Trigger?? Any Huma Trigger that lives with a Coral Banded Shrimp and a bunch of small hermits without killing is not right, glad he's in your tank and not the ocean, this fish should not be allowed to reproduce.

My Picasso has live with a Dardanus sp. hermit for over a year. He likes to chew on the crab's leg; the crab shakes him off and goes about his business. Interestingly enough the trigger never bothers the crab when he's molting.

BTT - How bout a golden angel or lineatus wrasse?

A golden angel is way to cryptic/shy for the existing tank mates.

Showpiece?! ARE YOU FOR REAL??? :hmm4:

All but 2 of those fish ARE showpiece fish. Do you really think that ANY other type of fish is going to be a standout amongst THAT group? If you do then you are one of the people who is ruining this hobby. How can you be so greedy? Think about getting a tank 4 times that size and then come back and ask the same question. :worried2:

I usually dont say ish cause my reef is over stocked but you my friend have totally surpassed me! But if you think that they will be happy and live healthy then why not a very small dolphin, had to do it. No whatever makes you happy my man but everyone here wants you to succeed and that probably wont happen if you do what you wanna do, but I have to add this... Your purple is the last fish my man or should have been, GL, I do mean it.

Your tank is extremely overstocked I would not add any if anything I would remove some like that purple tang that is only going to get incredibly aggressive in such close quarters.

I suggest a panther grouper. They are so cute when they are little. As it grows it will eat your other fish leaving you with a single show fish. Problem solved!

As mentioned you have too many fish already.

ok, so I ended up getting rid of my blue tang and added this from DD as my showpiece:
