Am finishing a build on a large (~1500G) reef system which will incorporate a 150G, 50" deep remote DSB. Am considering whether to do this as a plenum or as a homogeneous sand bed. Recommendations? If one type of sand only, any recs regarding type/density?

Just go for a nice thick DSB with fine grade arragonite sand.
