hi everyone! i just thought it would be really helpful if we could all put our plumbing knowledge for large reefs in one place. ive seen a lot of confusing setups and odd little connector pieces and im sure all the people that dont do plumbing on a regular basis are in the same boat as i am.
we could put drain types and the names of different pieces of piping and such in here along with the purpose of said different pieces along with pictures if you have any.
some of the setups on here are completely baffling and look like spaghetti attached to water tanks and i cant help but wonder what all that stuff is and why it is there. well im definitely not a plumber so please post your knowledge here!
tips and tricks for quiet overflows and drains and things like that would help as well.
