Plumbing Oceans Motions

So I just got my oceans motions a few days ago and I have a question on how to plumb the device. Do you guys think it is okay to use PVC that is designed for drains to plumb the return. I want large sweeping fitting to reduce frictional losses in the plumbing. I will be using a RD Speedy 230w pump for the return and the tank will have 29" of water on top of the plumbing. I am hoping this will be sufficient and safe. Input will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Not sure what you mean by 'PVC designed for drains'? If you mean the corrugated drain pipes that often come with commercial sumps then, no, don't use that. I used 1" flex PVC for my OM device.

I meant the stuff that is meant for sink and tub drains. Not sure if it is still schedule 40 seems a little thinner but still substantial. It's not the thin stuff that would break if you hit it with a hammer. It just says it's not pressure rated. Figured it was a relatively low pressure system so should be ok. I also don't want my 475g reef draining into the flow since the OM4 is plumbed through the bottom.

Household drains is schedule 40 PVC (except for the plastic sink P traps) and is the stuff you should use.
