if i get the 5 10 gallon tanks with 3/4 '' holes are bulkheads threaded or slip or can you get them both ways which is better iyo

I think what you mean is you will have bulkheads then attached to 3/4 PVC and you want them connected to ball valves.

Your asking what type of Valves( Threaded, or slips right?)

You can get them a few different ways, you can get them slip/slip, thread/slip, and thread/thread
If you plan on taking things apart and moving them from time to time, then get threaded. If its a permanent install, go slip.
Slip is easier as you can cut your own pipe to fit. You don't have to make everything conform to the threaded pipe sizes.
