Acer - there are ALWAYS plenty of buyers at a swap. People come with nothing simply to pick up some frags and gear. And equipment is as good as frags. Bring anything you'd like.

I was kidding about the comment - "who is buying". Poor attempt at humor which in writing is obviously beyond me.....
 
I just wanted to let you all know that we will be in what they call the Showroom at the Radisson Inn in Monroeville. You will get a bit of a preview regarding MACNA as this is the same room we will use for the workshops.
 
Am I missing something on "Fragswapper" ?
I'm only seeing 3 items !! there must be more stuff available by now, only a month away!
Maybe my fragswapper bookmark is broken.

By the way I can't attend, I'll be traveling home from S.C. that day, but I still like to see what I'll be missing out on.

Sadly Bill... that's all we have so far. But I know people like Adam have 900 frags to swap, but have been too busy to post them up there. I'm hoping for a flurry of posting soon.

I think Im gonna make it, just waiting to find out the dates of my vacation before I post on fragswapper, I know its around that date. Figured Id post on here to guage interest in frags of Tyree neon polyped toadstool and cespitularia (blue xenia), dunno what else will be ready by then.

I just posted a bunch on fragswapper (not quite 900), so let the flurry begin.

Jamokie01, where did you get your Cespitularia? I didn't think anyone else around had any. If yours is a different morph than mine, I would be very interested in a trade.

I got mine from RandyO at the Cleveland swap a few months back. As far as I know nobody else has any around here, Id been trying to find it locally for a while.

I searched for a couple of years and finally got some from a guy in the UK. There are pics of mine on fragswapper... does it look very different from yours? Please pardon the horrible pics.

Actually mine looks pretty much the same but my polyps look bigger, fullgrown theyre about the size of a kernel of corn. Id say thats probably due to tank conditions. I have mine at the bottom of the tank with 440 watts of T-5`s and just enough flow for it to sway back and fourth. Hopefully Ill have pics to post in the next day or two.
 
Bumping. This is in three weekends. Get those frags cut and posted on fragswapper! I know we have a ton of people that have and want frags, we'd love to see you.

I will be bringing buckets of oolitic aragonite reef sand, #50 each for $15. If you are interested, please let me know in advance how many so I can plan accordingly.

What size is the sand.
I have some fine sugar sized sand in my tank and with my flow I am getting it blowing around some. I would like to maybe get a nice layer of something a little larger on top of what I have so it doesnt get blown around as much.

This sand is very similar to CaribSea's Aragamax.
