Very nice Steve. My next tank will definitely be taller than my current 24". It will be at least 27", but 30" is not out of the question. There is just so much fish interaction that shallow tanks can not achieve.

30 tall is nice . i think my 180 is the same dimension as yours and now I have the smaller cube with 18 only so Im thinking 30 will be perfect.

hey pnoyreefer - what's the water volume you're using this dosing schedule on? your corals look absolutely stunning!


Biofuel - 5m Daily
Microbacter7 - 15 ml once a week
Pottasium - 2 ml twice a week
Vitamin C - 1 ml everday
Magnesium - 4ml daily
Koral color - 2ml daily
Amino Acid - 12drops daily
Lugols -3 drops once a week

Also use:

Marine Snow 2x a week
Pohls Vitalizer 2ml daily

i agree, the shallow look is great for showing off smaller corals or large tables and such but some of the fish hate it. plain and simple

i have been thinking about having a new tank built that has the same footprint as my current tank but 26" tall instead of 14.

I try to keep mine around 8 ..

Hard to say which one is the best.. Brightwell or anything you add to your tank is just an extra. I say good husbandry, Lighting and equipment is what contrubutes more to the colors..

I am running 400w radiums on a lumantek ballast wit 2x24w T5 ( Aquascience 22k)

Since I am at of work lol I feed 2-3x a day .... Yes I am still running the BK and can't say anything bad about it ... Its treating me well and worth the money ...

any chance you sell frags? i live in puerto rico and most companies just won't ship out here! don't know why, it's considered part of the US for shipping purposes. Fedex will deliver here overnight. just wondering if next time you frag from your 180 if you could sell me some pieces. i have a similar setup to yours. a 36X36X24 cube! let me know. thanks
