Get a hanna phosphorous meter.. (remember: reading x 3.0661 divided by 1000 = ppm)
I myself have a routine to conduct the test making it very accurate. I've heard some back and forth about the quality of it, but the quality of the tester isn't in question most times most likely. It's probably user error on how they conduct the test.
I've purposely done 3 or 4 tests in a row, and it has never waivered more than a couple ppb.
Another reason I use a laminated card folded in half and always empty the entire contents of the reagent before I even start the test.
