Poblem with Vertex skimmer

I bought a 200 my problemi is simple pump does not keep working goes for a few hours then shuts down I can restart it by taking it of the skimmer turning the needle wheel by hand then it fine foe a while nothing is blocking the needle wheel. your thoughts on how to remedy this please

HI,

Sorry to hear about the problem. We have had a few people with some pump issues and most seem to be the impeller. We believe the manufacture didn't polish some of the impeller shafts enough and caused some issues with it starting and stopping.

We have new impellers on the way, so if you drop us and email at sales@premiumaquatics.com we'll get you on the list for a new one when we get them.

When are you guys receiving the new impellers? I ordered my IN100 at the end of Dec. and still waiting on the replacement impeller. Mine also came with the crazed cup.

Well I got my Impeller this week skimmer worked great for a couple hours now I can't get the pump to power on so I have been with out my skimmer since I got it needless to too say I am not a happy camper at the moment sent Jarrod a email yesterday haven't heard anything sorry guys I am just PO'ed at the moment

We have all new impeller shafts, made out of a different material coming in within the next few days. I am confident that the new shaft should fix any lingering issues out there, and should have us back on track with these skimmers.

Jeremy I don't think the pump is working at all. I think the pump it's self is shot if needed I can send the pump back, and go from there sent you same msg via email

Jarrod sent Email Friday morning I know you guys are busy but I haven't been able to really use my Skimmer since I got it this problem has been going on since Dec was one of the 1st to order when on sale like to see this resolved soon! I mean I really do hate being a jerk! but we are nearing 3 months. too re say my email you asked if it was easy to remove the impeller yes it is I can easily change it. and when I plug it in I get nothing not even a light hum I tried to spin it a couple times by hand just cause nothing else worked. if it be better for me to call to resolve this please lmn want to order the RKL blue pods but I will wait to see how we resolve this.
