Being a newbie, I started my tank cycling about April 1st. Two weeks ago I added my 1st fish of 2 false percs, and last week I added a yellow tang. Tank is doing really well and I hvae already had my Diatoms outbreak, and gree hair is also working ut's wonders. But when can I expect to see my pods start showing up???

You can check after dark. That might help. With two fish present, they probably won't come out much during the light. Some tanks have more of these animals than others, so viewing isn't always the same.

mine are already out after 4 days of having live rock in the tank.( small and hard to see. they hand in the lower flow areas)
try using a flash light at nightand look for small specs

i never see any pods in my tank ( my six line eats them up fast ) but my sump is crawling with the little guys. you might need to build a rubble pile to provide them with some protection so they can multiply.
