rI've kept a seperate pod tank for years. 5 g bubbler, heater, and a HD reflector light with a spiral daylight ,cheato, sand and rubble. I throw in algae flakes once in a while for amphods and green water for small pods. I rotate out rubble from the pod tank to the seahorse tank. IAlso filter out pods though a coffee filter and swish it in the tank. This way the sea hoses have a supply. The ones in the rubble are placed in at night and can find a place to reproduce. Having just a straight fuge on the tank the horses seem to eat everything. Separate they produce faster. Just remember to do a small water change once in a while.
