Poecilia reticulata reef tank acclimation

Has anyone successfully acclimated Poecilia reticulata to a saltwater tank with a specific gravity of 1.024? I have tried to slowly acclimate dozens over the course of one to three months trying different methods but have not been able to get them passed a sg of 1.015. They either get stressed and stop eating and swimming normally, or have died rapidly at the 1.015 mark. Should I keep trying but try to acclimate them at an even slower rate, or just leave them in their freshwater tanks?

Not an answer to you’re question, but around here we have a hard enough time getting them to live in freshwater let alone saltwater. Can’t say I’ve seen many if any posts about adapting guppies to saltwater. I can mainly recall mollies.
