Poidog's 70g Tech Tank Build

Awesome... Love the tank and all your new inhabitants... Hows the mandarin eating? I have heard they can be hard to keep?

Looks awesome, and the house for Jose is really awesome! I really wish we could have a Jawfish, they are excellent!

Get those bumble bee snails out ASAP!!! :-)

How about an update with pics?

Sorry I know it's been awhile. I was just thinking that I needed to get an update posted the other day! Give me a couple days and I'll try to get a big update up.

The madarin eats Ova like a pig! He's taken flight swimming around the tank recently and has not learned yet that vortechs eat rear tails! He's got some propeller bites out of his rear fin, but otherwise he's fine.

Everything's looking really good!

How's the tierra del fuego? Let's see some pics of that and the crazy multi-colored monti and an FTS! (I figure a bunch of requests will help you out!)

Alright! I had some time to take some shots for a quick photo update :)

Since the last update please welcome some new additions: Fredrick the Choati Wrasse (eating Rods and pellets), and Eric & Patrick the Helfrichi Firefish (named after me and my husband, haha). If you remember Patrick #1 died mysteriously, so this is Patrick II

*drool* for that ORA borealis.... Maybe when you frag it someday, I can jump into line! That is one awesome looking coral.

Beautiful corals and a really nice setup. Is that Dinos or Diatoms on the sand? How are you dealing with it?

Those are just diatoms that just bloomed up when the jawfished moved a bunch of sand last week. I'm just waiting for them to die off, should only be another week or so before they fad away.

I'm fully aware of the info that is out there on garden eels. I did deepen my sand bed for him. So far he looks happy and is bobbing up and down for food in the current. He's being much more active than at the LFS. Like I said, the LFS has had him for about a month, so here's hoping he's taken to a captive environment for a higher chance of success. Time will tell....
Ah, kk.

Western reefer - I just clicked on your link... Very neat tank! And you're cute too ;)

Hahaha, thanks! lol :D

The tank is looking good!!

How is the Garden Eel doing btw?
