buffing
Renee, I used to buff out alot of acrylic tanks. You can use sandpaper but make sure you go to a car paint place and get the wet sandpaper. It depends on how deep the scratches are as to what grit you will need to start out with. If scratches are really deep you may have to start out with 800 if they are not you can probably start with 1200. Make sure you keep paper flat when sanding to avoid dimples, we use to use a buffing wheel and an adhesive that would make the sandpaper stick to the wheel. After sanding with 800, step up to 1200, than 1500, than 2000. When you are done with the 2000 you than need to buff the tank with the novus acrylic polish to resore the lustre. Any questions let me know.
