Polyps Galore, 70+ Colony Zoa tank

Amazing tank and great Picasso Clown!

Incredible!

Awesome setup..one of a kind !!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I have a green coris and a mystery wrasse. I see the green coris pick at the rocks but never the zoa colonies. I would do a quarantine tank but im scared everything would melt due to the lighting change. Not sure they would like going from 100% AIs to some power compacts.

I ordered potassium permanganate as a last resort. Ever had any experience with using that as a dip? Its supposed to kill the eggs too.

I would stay away from dipping and quarantine due to the stress, I personally rid my tank using wrasses and thorough visual inspections.

What an amazing tank!!!!! Where do you get all those amazing zoas from???

Thanks :)! I have my sources, most are local but I have had a few things shipped in.

nice zoa gardens
any more update from your tank ?

I've been looking for a Zoa tank to be a motivation point for me to create a zoa garden in my 20 gallon nano tank, and you sir have become my inspiration. This is one sick zoa garden!!!! :)

2 month growth shot:

Shots this morning (Just over 4 months growth):

2 polyps to 33 polyps in a little over 4 months.

Time for a bigger tank.

Ya actually eh? Going to the LFS is hard for me now as I have no room to put anything:headwallblue:.

I just jizzed in my pants. Great tank.
 Haha, thank you!

Awesome tank.

Could you explain your plumbing a little. I see where water goes from the overflow to the dsb/mangrove/fuge and the sump. Where does fuge flow to? Any more explanation would be awesome, pics don't hurt either. Thanks

Those zoa/palys are beautiful. I want a zoa/paly garden too. I've started with few frags of zoas. I hope they grow fast in my tank.
