i have had good luck with S. punctatus in the past... i like the look to. Both i listed IMO are some of the better looking out there. There are a few that might look better but are harder to get. I never had good luck with S. doliatus before. I've try a few and they seem to pass for no reason. It might be the source , but IME they are hard to keep long term.
Sailfin tangs, Zebrasoma desjardini are also known to consume valonia
I've always like the desjardini but I don't think the 3 resident yellows will like that idea.
