Very nice Kenny, but they will cause bleaching. You need to place a layer or two of eggcrate to help diffuse the light.

Actually, I already have one of those (borrowed from a friend to test out) up along with 2 Lumenbright Minis for the past 2 months. I just got these so I'll replace all three. Do you think it would still be a problem? I think the LM Elite and the LB Minis are very comparable. If anything, the Elites are not as intense but has a better spread, hence the reason I've finally decided to get them.

I would have to disagree with them bing comparable. I had a friend (jtarmitage) that switched from LA's to the elites, same bulbs and same ballasts; but he bleached more than a couple corals on the sand that used to be 15" under the LA's.

Hmm..........I am not sure how the LA's compare to the LB's, but side by side on my tank, the LB's are definitely more intense than the Elites since they've been on. There is a clear difference at the sand level where the LB's are noticeably brighter.

Kenny, I forgot the lemons-lol- hey man your system is really nice- I say system because your frag tank is popping full of colors as well as the display!! Thank you for letting me bother you for a couple hours and that outdoor mall worked out perfect-

After seeing your LB putting all that light to the sand bed, it is making me think about replacing a couple of my lumenarc minis...
