The LB is pretty amazing if only it wasn't such a spotlight reflector. I changed them out to the Elites after you left and the new ones are pretty comparable with a better spread.

Some day soon, I'll make it out to Vegas and check out your system.

I forget, but did you have the room to raise the LB's up to try and get more spread or do you think it would matter? Let me know when your coming to Sin City

Not much more room above because of the garage door rails. It's only a slight improvement in terms of spread. You'll need to place them closer together to get rid of the dark area between the 2 cones of light. If you have the room, try the LB large reflectors. They should have better spread than the minis I had.

Sorry, it's the competitive nature in me

I hope the one in the second pic colors up more purple like Tim's. I moved it about a week ago to get more light and flow. Right now, the encrusted base is a brown turd about 5" across but all the branches have the purple tips.

Thats the unknown? It definitely likes light and flow. I look forward to seeing what it will do for you.

That's it. It didn't do anything but encrust for over a year. Then it started sending out a few cluster of branches. I am anxious to see how it colors up also. I am in the process of having a metal light rack made for the tank so I can finally add the T5's for some badly needed additional illumination.
