Thank you. The two most important things I've learned is that you have to learn as much as you possibly can about everything, whether it's equipment or livestock and really taking your time to do everything right. There is simply no good outcome if you rush into anything with half-baked knowledge. Good luck.

That Vivid Echino is beautiful! Looks like you have gotten some decent growth since you picked it up in October.

Thanks Sara. Hurry and get your tank ready. Remember that solid pink Echino sitting on the sandbed? The one where even your husband said it's pink??? :lol: A friend wanted a piece last week so I fragged it. There is another piece waiting patiently for your tank ;)

I'm working on it, I swear! I've been up in Canada working for the last 3 weeks and I have 4 more to go. It's put a bit of a damper on progress, but I'm hoping to put some fish in the sump this weekend and shut my temporary system down. I'll update my build thread this weekend too as I have not had my personal laptop as it caught a virus and has been worked on for 2 weeks by friends.

Thanks for setting aside a frag of that for me!

No worries. I was just messing around. Take your time and get everything right the first time around. The pink Echino should be nicely grown by then.

:D I know you are just giving me a hard time! I'm about a week short of having the tank in my posession for 1 year now! I deserve some crap!

Thanks. Unfortunately, it's not a big piece nor a fast grower. It's only about 1"x1.5" ATM. It's the only coral that I try to direct feed whenever possible.
 
Well, it's not a slow grower like the OG Watermelons but not fast like Mummy Eye or other similar morphs. It did put on noticeable growth since I got it in Oct, just not tremendously.
