Well, not quite the same if you dig deeper. You got stuck at the starting blocks but once you got out, you were moving I got out of the starting blocks ok but got stuck at the 50 meter mark in the 100 meter dash :mixed:

Anyhow, consider placing it in the front left corner, if you can shift a couple of rocks. Heck, the rocks can even help camoflauge it.

Kenny, do you actively feed your Favia's? I also keep one, and the growth is not very impressive, maybe some additional feeding will help.

Who's tank is that? Where are all the white sticks? I'll fiddle around and see if there are any changes. The next step would be to just turn it 90 degrees. I'll probably get to that by June..........2010

Leonardo, I do not target feed the Favias or any other coral, for that matter. It's just too much work and I am too lazy :lol: I think different species just grow at different rates, much like Acros, simple as that. The Pumpkin Patch just happens to be one of the really slow growers. Of the dozen or so varieties I have, they all grow at different rates. I just make sure the fish are well fed and fat. They can then do their thing and poop on the corals :rollface:

Just got this yesterday from a trade. Raptor's Peace Coral.........OMG!!! I sure hope this is one of the fast growers

Thanks for the answer Kenny, that also saves a little effort for me I never see any of these beautiful Favia's here in Europe... Always green or brown/reddish ones... The new Raptor's Peace is awesome btw, hope it's a fast grower

Joe, I know you can do a wave with a span of 48", but do you get a wave from side to side as well, or just front to back?

Glad to be of some use, Leonardo. Although you may not have some of these Favias, you guys sure have some amazing SPS

But don't you use a WB and an extension? I doubt a single WB can do that alone.

Yes Kenny-I use the extension and I have not ran them the length of the tank yet Jeremy but I have plans to- I am adding acrylic wavebox enclosures to the outside of my tank at some point here in the near future,I have the enclosures,just need to drill and glue.

Wow ! thanks for posting it.. I see the rainbows eyes are coming back or losing it :lol:... My colony body now is showing some greens to it as well.. Maybe in the future this will turn to acid trip ha!
