last anenome i had die on me did something similiar to this but the excretion wasn't white and stringy like this is, it was more snotty looking, but lately it has been acting wierd. when i first got it home the mouth was a little turned out but that subsided quickley. i threw him in the tank after acclimation and he quickly attatched to a spot on the sandbed, between a rock, like most carpets like. he was nice and big and beautiful, till a few days ago. it has been smaller lately, and detatched from his spot. it took him about a day to fully detatch, i noticed it was coming undone, the night before it fully detatched. around the time it started detatching the mouth was turn inside out and this white stringy stuff started coming out, also with a few brown pieces. i did a 25% water chaange as my nitrate crept up a little. yesterday and today the stringy stuff has been coming out all day, not so much today. today it has been flat, looking like it was trying to press down against the substrate. i was looking on the net and noticed that some nems do lay flat, and i looked a picture of merten's anemone, which is the nem that lays flat against its rocky home, and it kind of looked like that. i placed it up on a rock and it looks etch out. a little better and started to strSo what do u guys think? Dieng nem or a pooping mertens?
