This is my second fish that jumped out of my tank! What do you guys use to cover the top of your tanks? I removed my glass lids to provide better ventilation and now i need an alternative.......

mesh covers. someone local makes em i think and I believe you can also make one pretty easily. Thats my next project, making a mesh cover for my tank when I get my 6line wrasse

1/2" is too large (same size as egg crate). In order to keep fish like small wrasses. firefish, etc. in the tank you need to use the 1/4".

I'm looking at a ruler now and there is no way any of my fish can fit out of a 1/2" opening... let alone aerial dive up through it.

I just made a couple of them for my 90 with the DIY screen kit at Menards. I used the dark gray screen. Very simple to make. If you want I can help you out. I got the rolling pin thingy if you need to borrow it. Saves $4. . oh! and the saw. Lmk
