My green chromis I've had for 2 years has developed pop eye. I tried using the sticky article but has been giving me errors all morning.

I've read that this could be any of numerous things from a slight abrasion to an infection.

Is it best to leave the fish alone for a day or 2 to see if it goes down on its own first?

My Clarkii has had it a couple times, but it went away within about a week. I would take a look at your water quality, specifically nutrient levels, and do some water changes, thats what I believe my problem was. Running carbon may also help if you arent already.

Running carbon and gfo. The API nitrate kits comes back 0s. The salifert ammonia kit comes back 0 (or close to it, salifert has a horrible color gradients).
