I bought a pair of ORA Spotcinctus a month ago. I think the male might have caught something. I have two videos that i will post. You can see his swimming is odd, atleast to me and compared to the female, his breathing is very fast, Hes getting more picky on what he eats, i do believe hes still eating but it getting harder to tell. He seems to only use his side fins to swim and hes very fat in that area. It's hard to say went you see him every day but i think he is getting more lethargic as time has gone on.

Can i get some opinions please?

I'm still waiting on the second video to upload. He acts more lethargic in the second video. which was recorded today, but a few days after the first.

Here is a 3rd video, that is bit more close up on him.

You're right. There is clearly something wrong with him. Best of luck figuring it out :( , very hard to do on these little guys.

Ok, just seemed like his eyes were bigger than the female but they are both big.

Any sign of white/stringy poo?

Yea i have to double check every once in awhile cause it makes me think he has pop eyes, but its just the pearl eyes make them look large.

No, so far i have not seen any white stringy poo.

Looks like a bacterial infection to me. I would do a FW dip for 3 min and then put him in a QT with Nitrofurazone. The male and female both seem to be breathing faster then normal. So I would keep an eye on both.

For the FW match the PH and add some Methylene blue.

I have on hand seachem focus, seachem kanaplex, quick cure, methylene blue, sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim, ciprofloxacin
