I was at a LFS yesterday two hours away from home and against my better judgement listened to the stores advice which I know is a rookie mistake without knowing for sure if they are correct or not... Anyway I purchased a beautiful Desjardini Sailfin Tang which was according to the store only supposed to get to 5-6" and be perfectly peaceful with other tangs.
After getting home and doing some reading now I find it is a much larger fish and is aggressive towards other Zebrasoma classified tangs. I also have a Scopas in my 140 Tall which is a 48" tank, so I am wondering what the groups collective though is on this.
Obviously I am worried about the length that these two can grow to and the aggressiveness towards each other. Did I screw up as bad as I am reading?
