Wow great pictures! What are you guys feeding your Rics? I've got a nice peacock blue Ric with a green mouth that just won't grow. It's 26" down from a 250W Pheonix 14K lamp. I think I may need to feed it but I don't know what.

That's amazing. Is that blue around the edges?

Mysis won't stick to mine. I tried target feeding them and shortly after the mysis just fall off them.

My all time favourite florida ric from my collection.

FYI that ricordea is bleached.
I hope it wasn't sold to you as "rare specialtastic super cool expensive polyp rare awesome".

I've seen bleached ricordeas and that does not look bleached. If anything it looks like nice healthy ricordias of a florescent variety. Bleached one would have some solid colors still on the undersides that are shaded, but this one is colored evenly through out.

Ok then in that case I have the EXACT SAME ricordea!!!
What are the chances?
Except, mine used to be a tri-color.
I'm not saying it to put anyone down, but newbies shouldn't be looking at these ricordeas thinking that they're rare and going out and paying 'rare' prices for them. It's ridiculous but it happens.

TO:checkinhawk, The last pic is that green rim W/tangerine with in,because i have one and it seems to be losing its color.
i've been feeding it and it still doesn't look to great but all my rics and sps are so fine:p any clue, i started it low in the tank just moved it half way up. 65 gal w/vho atin.and 20k 400watt.

my yumas seem to like to be on the bottom under a little shade.i have a few other yumas that came to me somewhat bleached and they are doing alot better in shade and coloring up.i dont spot feed any of my rics .i do use 4ml of phyto feast everyday to feed my clam,i assume they will eat the phyto as well.my pic was taken under 10k 150 halide/130 pc actinic 460nm/420nm.i would move it back down to the bottom, try to find an area that has some shade and put it there.you can melt it if you get it too close to light(trust me i found out the hard way).
