Post the rarest fish species you have personally seen!

one of my favorites that was on display at Atlantis Aquarium in Riverhead. Spendid Toadfish.

While I don't think it is necessarily rare in the world, we used to get Radiata Lions in all the time 10-15 years ago at the LFS I worked at--one of the most beautiful fish out there in my opinion, but I have not even seen one in over 10 years. I'm not a lionfish fan by any means, but the colorations on the Radiatas and the length of their bright white fin stripes is amazing in person.

Poker reefer, I remember seeing more like 2 or 3 hundred of those clarion angels at aquarium concepts in Dublin with a price tag of $2500 some years back.

Thats odd I see them in regularly here in Atlanta but the problem is getting them to live if I recall correctly.

DDRR- Thats awesome I had to drip acclimate 3 Clarions three or four years ago and I thought that was a lot hahaha.

The first two pics were taken at House of Fins in Greenwich, CT (at different times, of course) . The third was of my own fish; not nearly as rare but the color variation was certainly unusual.
