haha thanks for the photos Todd- that blue Haddoni is my favorite. Your skunks are spoiled.

IPT- very very cool tank. Everything looks balanced and I like the variety of colors. Any idea how mature it is? What kind of fish is that blue guy above your anemone? and whats the coral to the left of him w/ the pointy things?

Bradly J- looks like you certainly do have a mixed bag o fun there! Thanks for the photo contribution. Total newb qw here- but what are the corals in your 65 - that last photo? those reds are lovely. favia? or..

I am not Bradly J, but they MIGHT be some sort of acan.

This is my acan before I moved a powerhead and my Haddoni moved and stung the heck out of it.

ahh thats the one i was looking for. Acans. Thank you Todd. Any thoughts on how acans are to keep? Flow/lighting preferences/growth rate???

I only have the one, and it was damaged by my Haddoni, but before that it was doing pretty good. It was on the sandbed of my 58, which has 2*250 watt 20K bulbs. I would say that my flow is on the mid to high side, but not as strong on the sandbed.

You guys are for the most part correct. They are Australian Acanthestrea Lordwhensis. Very beautiful colors and morphs. They do very well down low in medium to low flow and the cool thing about them are that if they are all the same species, they can touch one another and they wont fight and kill each other.

Klepto - the blue fish is actually a Scotts Fairy wrasse. The tanks was about 6 or 7 months old in this shot. That "pointy coral" in the upper left of the tank is actually a ****ed off Bubble Tip Anemone that wandered into the Vortech a few weeks before. Shrunk down to nothing. I was gonn athrow it out it looked so bad. In time it healed up and now it's huge. I'll have to take an updated picture. All but the colt coral have grown quite a bit.

BTW, behind the wrasse is a Frogspawn. I'll have to post some updated shots when I get back from my trip.

BradleyJ, those acans are sooo pretty. Great pictures!

Thanks Marc, When you were here I think I only had 2 colonies.
Well I jumped in feet first with these acans and now have 10 colonies.

That is what I was thinking -- where were all these lovely corals when I was there?!

Ah Now i see that it's a BTA... At first it looked blue- thats what put me off.
Beautiful Wrasse. Any shots of it solo?

Wait-- so your colonies are only 6-7mo old here? or were the frags pretty large already?
Cheers.

Big G- Your Xenia looks nice. Any way to get a full sized shot of your whole tank? What kind of camera are you using?
