I got one from Neptune Aquatic's in September (2013).
As fishmonger007 said, make sure he eats. Neptune's said they were eating but I failed to ask them to show me. I ended up going back and asking if the others were eating and they tried to show me but the other potter angel they had didn't at the time.
I tried everything to get him to eat. I feed my fish several different frozen food's and he wouldnt' take to any. Wouldn't eat the flakes, wouldn't eat the seaweed. Eventually I broke down and bought live brine shrimp (while I have heard they aren't very beneficial, but it is 'something"). He started eating that, and then as time went on I'd start mixing some live with frozen ones, etc.
Now he eats everything.
He is my favorite fish in my tank that's for sure. He has more energy, he's more interactive than any other fish I have. He's always at the front glass looking to see what's going on. I recently rescued a Yellow Tang, which is double his size, and literally in the first 12 hours they are constantly swimming together. I gave the Yellow Tang some seaweed yesterday and suddenly the Potter's Angel became interested in the seaweed too. So both of them are going to town eating that now too!
The only downside is the same with other dwarf angels... they can pick. Mine has taken a liking to about 4 "colors" of my acan's. So at the moment those four acan's have been living a life under a strawberry crate, but they are about to get moved to my frag tank (maybe today). The rest of my corals and other color acan's seem to be thriving with him still. If he starts to pick at others though, he will have to be removed
