Power Outage..and my RBTA eats it.

Well I went to my girlfriends house for the weekend and Monday(she lives about 1 1/2 hours away so I sometimes go and stay at her place). Early Saturday morning the power went out at my house and stayed out for 15 hours :(. Nobody called to tell me it was out or I would have rushed back and set up a couple battery pumps... When I did get home the power was back on and my Rbta looked a little stressed but wasn't looking horrible. I went to bed and woke up to a cloudy tank and anemone chunks in my skimmer cup. I am soooooo ****ed at myself for not getting a generator. It was the 3rd item on a list of upgrades to get for my tank. Now, however, it is number one to get. BTW power outages where I live never ever last longer then 1-2 hours. This was a first in the 20 years I have lived here. And I didn't think that an outage even lasting 15 hours would hurt and animal that spends 20 hours in a bag with little water when shipped :(.

Did the BTA start roaming and get sucked up in a power head or something? How did it end up in the skimmer cup? You may want to cover your intakes.

My intakes are covered. The Anemone melted during the night and basically chunks ended up going over the overflow into my sump. Where they got skimmed out.
